Established in 1893 on Lake Whalom by the Fitchburg & Leominster Street Railway Company, it grew into a small, homey amusement park featuring a great wooden roller coaster named the Flyer Comet. It closed in 2000 and was eventually demolished to make room for condominiums. Gone but not forgotten, this sticker pays tribute to a New England summer tradition for many families.
