It is impossible to get coconut shells where I live, so was happy to find these mugs to have the look. Just pop in a straw and a little umbrella and it looks perfect, and fun. The mugs have a matte finish on the outside, so I have been careful to thoroughly dry them after hand washing just to be safe to keep them looking good. A really fun addition to the
Tiki bar.
