For 20 years I used my favorite mug but alas, one day it broke. I searched for the perfect mug with thick rounded walls and a sturdy handle. Then one day I googled "perfect mug" and found this one. I bought 4 and love them to death. I've got one at work and one at home and now I'm happy all of the time. Thanks Retro Planet.

WOW!...my husband and I have been on the lookout for diner mugs forever!...what we say was close but never perfect...these mugs are exactly what he wanted...thick composite material, off-white color and a great shaped handle...can't wait for him to open this gift for his birthday...he will be so surprised...thank you retro planet!...neat stuff, excellent customer service...will deffinately come back for other gift times...

I was looking for a substantial coffee mug and I was correct in choosing this one! I like things that are strong and durable. The quality is excellent. You cannot go wrong with buying this product---I would recommend this to anyone. When I opened up the box and saw the careful packaging and took out the mugs that I ordered I was very happy. The are better than anything that I could have hoped for.

My dad has been looking for "Navy Mugs" for at least 10 years. I work in the restaurant industry and looked through our distributors' catalogues and never found anything just as perfect as what he really wanted. I bought 8 of these for him and I think I saw a single tear coming down his eyes when he opened them! They are PERFECT! They're actually tougher and thicker than the typical diner-style mug that you can get from restaurant supply stores. They keep coffee hotter than you made it, and they'll NEVER break. I searched high and low a few years ago for the sturdiest classic diner coffee mugs. I found them here, and here only. I've loved them since, and just bought a few more. They're slightly off-white, thick handle and brim, and slight curved shape. Fill them up with hot water while your coffee is brewing, and your cup of joe will stay hot for a looong time. Enjoy!

A quality well proportioned cup.
The cream color is slightly lighter than the original DELCO cup, as well having a thinner wall thickness by 1/8". A pleasure to use and own.
