February 28, 1963 – John and Paul wrote “From Me To You” on the way to one of their shows in the Shapiro Tour at the Granada Cinema in Shrewsbury.
February 23, 1964 – The Beatles recorded an appearance on “Big Night Out” which would broadcast on the 29th.
February 22, 1965 – The band flew to the Bahamas to begin shooting for their new movie, “Help!” They stayed at the Balmoral Club at Cable Beach.
February 24, 1969 – The final master of John’s “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” was finished at Trident Studios.
February 24, 1970 – At the Abbey Road Studios, Ringo was working on a solo album in Studio One, and Paul was working on his solo album in Studio Two.
February 26, 1971 – Paul gave evidence in court for the dissolution of the Beatles partnership, but George, John, and Ringo did not appear, and sent written affidavits instead.
February 28, 1972 – Paul’s “Give Ireland Back to the Irish” was released in the U.S.
February 26, 1980 – Paul received the award for Outstanding Music Personality at the British Rock and Pop Awards.
February 27, 1980 – Paul’s “Rockestra Theme” received a Grammy Award.
