Did you ever wonder about what The Beatles were up to on a week-to-week basis?  Are you a Beatles trivia buff?  Test your knowledge here as you look at what happened to The Beatles in a specific week in time.

February 16, 1963 – The band made the cover of “Record Mirror,” a national music paper.

February 15, 1964 – The album “Meet The Beatles!” went to #1 on the US charts and stayed at the top for 11 weeks.

February 16, 1964 – The Beatles appeared live on the “Ed Sullivan Show” for the second time.  It was before an audience of 3,500.

February 15, 1965 – “Ticket to Ride” was recorded in the studios at Abbey Road.  “Another Girl” and “I Need You” were recorded too.  Also, John passed his driving test.

February 16, 1967 – “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “Penny Lane” had promotional films broadcast on “Top of the Pops.”

February 15, 1968 – John and George flew to Rishikesh, India to study Transcendental Meditation.  Paul and Ringo joined them four days later.

February 20, 1969 – Ringo’s film “Candy” premiered at the Odeon in London.

February 21, 1970 – Using the pseudonym Billy Martin, Paul booked the first recording session for his solo album at the Abbey Road Studios.

February 19, 1971 – Paul’s legal case to dissolve the Beatles partnership began at the London High Court.

February 21, 1990 – Paul received a lifetime-achievement Grammy Award.
