1952 Cities Service Maine Road Map
The Cities Service Company was started in 1910 by Henry L. Dougherty, a pioneer oilman. It was known as Cities until 1965 when the name was changed to CITGO. This 1952 Cities Service Map depicts a great time in America’s past when the service station personnel wore uniforms and families were more likely to take road trips together.
The back of this road map has an illustration of a 1950s art deco style service station with some great old automobiles and gas pumps.
