Willy Wonka’s Opening Candy Scene

Last week I shared my affinity for old fashioned candy, and how I’d rather get a big box of penny candy than flowers. (See the original post.) I’d referenced the opening scene to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, where the kids rush to the candy store after school.

Lucky me, there’s a video of the scene, which includes the song, “The Candy Man,” and all the sugary treats one can handle. Enjoy!
