1950s Speedboat Racing Trophy

We thought it might be interesting each week to bring you a photo and information of an interesting, and maybe unusual, retro item we have kicking around. Please note these items are not for sale.
This is a vintage boat-racing trophy from the 1950s. It is brass-plated with a Bakelite base and is approximately 5 inches tall. It’s a nice little memento made by Leven and Son of Philadelphia. Trophies like this are fairly common, but are nonetheless, an interesting retro item.
