1939 Mercury Flyer Ride On Train

This toy train engine is a ride-on toy that was manufactured in 1939. It is made of pressed steel including the wheels, and was powered by the child riding it. The original color scheme would have been solid red with white embossed lettering. The design is reflective of the streamlined styling that was so popular from the late 1930s and through the 1940s.
