Marx Lightning Express 3000 Ride On Train

This is a steel Lightning Express 3000 Ride On Train made in the 1950s. It was manufactured by Louis Marx & Co., headquartered in New York City, with manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Founded in 1919, by the 1950s they were the largest tin toy manufacturer worldwide.

We restored this ride on toy with some modifications. The nose of the train is different, with an airbrushed headlight and we have given it a glossy red paint job.
