Coca-Cola Glascock Countertop Cooler

If you can believe it, this cooler originally sold for $5.95, making it the least expensive cooler ever manufactured by Glascock. It was also their smallest, holding 36 bottles. Made available in 1931, these coolers were designed to sit on a countertop. The bottles of Coke were kept cold by filling the cooler with ice. A spigot was used to drain the water from the cooler when the ice melted. The signs on the cooler were inserted into the side panels, which allowed for them to be changed easily. These coolers are rare and considered very collectible.
