I really enjoy this dispenser. Although it came filled with plastic straws, I decided to fill it with pyrex glass straws, so I would never run out. They are fine in the dishwasher and make the dispenser more useable, since I don't have to worry about having a supply of straws on hand. It goes well with my brushed stainless and glass accessories, too. All in all, a most satisfactory purchase. Try it - you'll like it.
