There was a warning sticker that said," the product can't be sold in California, because what is contained in it can cause cancer." I'm assuming there is lead in the paint. However, the mug is nice.

My older sister has loved Wonder Woman since we were kids. Since she is developmentally disabled, she is a little closer to our childhood than I! This is going to be her 48th birthday gift (along with a few other things) and she will be ecstatic about the mug. It seems like a really sturdy, quality mug too.
