1950 Seeburg M100B Jukebox
Produced in 1950 and 1951, the Seeburg M100B was the first of the Silver Age Jukeboxes. The Silver Age began, when instead of a plastic-like resin, chrome was used to decorate jukeboxes. The Seeburg M100B uses a Select-O-Matic mechanism and is capable of playing up to 100 selections from 50 records. It was the very first jukebox to play only 45-RPM records. It has a visible record mechanism and has an illuminated interior, song selections and grill. It ushered in the greatest time period for jukeboxes---the 1950’s.
