1941 American Mercury Coaster Wagon

The 1941 ride-on toy catalog described this wagon as, "An unusual value in a streamlined coaster wagon, built for speed and durability." For $4.41, this was quite a value---but remember, that was in 1941 dollars. The sleek art deco styling of this wagon includes "dummy headlights" on the sides to give this toy a fast look reminiscent of a streamline locomotive of the 1940s. This wagon was restored by Vintage Vending.
